Men’s Health Month

Men’s Health Month

June is Men’s Health Month.

For most men, good health is being physically and mentally able to work and play with little to no limitations so they can be the best versions of themselves.

As men age, good health takes effort.

You have to exercise regularly and eat a healthy diet. You have to manage your stress and get enough sleep. And you have to get regular medical checkups that include monitoring your heart, lungs, blood pressure and other health conditions.

Men also can stay in good health by taking advantage of those screenings that serve as an early warning system for skin, prostate and lung cancer. And a colonoscopy screening can find and remove abnormal cells (in the form of a polyp) in your colon before they can become cancerous.
